Legal Literacy

Ours is a Welfare State, and every Law that has been enacted or regulations framed by the Union or State Government are meant for the Welfare of the people of India. Unless the people for whom the Law and Regulations have been made are made aware of them, the very purpose of enactment goes in vain and their objects cannot be achieved. This Authority, thus, makes effort by organizing campaigning to spread Legal Literacy among people especially in Rural areas and under developed societies so as to acquaint them with some common laws of the land for their needful. Other programmes like Seminar, Work Shops etc. are also being organized and publicity campaigns are also made through hoarding, wall posters, leaflets, banners etc. to spread legal literacy. All the District Legal Services Authority and Taluk Legal Services Committees are also organizing Legal Literacy Camps in every month in different part of the State to sensitize the public about their legal rights.
